3) Open to residents of the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico only, aged 18 years or older at time of entry. Residents of Rhode Island not eligible to participate. Employees, officers, directors of the Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, their agents and members of their immediate families or household of each of the above are not eligible to participate.

This Sweepstakes is not open to competition associations or automated competition entry services. Any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and his or her Sweepstakes entry) who tampers with the entry or voting process. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes should fraud, virus, bug or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Proof of entering information on Sponsor’s website is not considered proof of delivery or receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor r eserves the right to exclude certain individuals from participating for reasons such as violation of the conditions of participation, duplicate participation, attempted manipulation of the Sweepstakes, and reserves the right to take legal action.
5) Prizes and Odds of Winning. You have not yet won. The Winner will be selected by random drawing on or about the drawing date stated in Rule 2. The prize description, quantity of prizes to be given away, and the approximate retail value of prizes are stated in Rule 2. The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. All prizes will be awarded, assuming sufficient entries. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be returned or exchanged for cash by Winner. Sponsor reserves the right to award, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, a cash prize equivalent to the value of the prize listed in Rule 2 or to substitute any portion of a prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Condition of Prize(s). All prizes are new.
6) General Conditions. All entrants must have a valid e-mail address at time of entry. Winner will be notified by email and must respond to the notification within seven (7) days, or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Failure to comply with these requirements for any reason, or return of the prize notification as undeliverable or refused, will result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate entrant will be drawn at random from the remaining eligible entries and awarded the prize. By participating and accepting a prize, where permitted by law, each winner grants to Sponsor (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor, the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use worldwide in any medium now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time(s), that winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information as news or information and for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or review. By participating, each eligible winner agrees to provide proof of identity, address and birth date and/or execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release or a publicity release, except where prohibited by law.
7) The Elixir® Strings Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Participation in this Sweepstakes is considered a complete release of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by each entrant.
8) Limitations of Liability. All entrants agree to release Sponsor from all liability for: (1) misdirected, inaccurate, incomplete, lost, late, delayed, undelivered, damaged or illegible entries, and (2) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the swee pstakes promotion. Winners and entrants also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, and its officers and employees, from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in any part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered, or participation in this sweepstakes promotion. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants and winner agree to be bound by these Official Rules, the decisions of Sponsor and any applicable federal, state, provincial or local laws and regulations.
9) All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Sweepstakes Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Delaware without regard to conflicts of law principles. All entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the state of Delaware.
