The IGA Holiday Ugly Sweater Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or persons living in the same household of such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.
The Sweepstakes begins on November 28, 2025 at 12:00:01 AM (local time) and ends on December 30, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM (local time) (the "Sweepstakes Period"). All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.
To enter, eligible participants must submit a photo of themselves wearing a holiday-themed ugly sweater through the official online entry form provided by IGA during the Sweepstakes Period. Limit one (1) entry per person. Automated or bulk entries are prohibited and will be disqualified.
By submitting an entry, participants represent and warrant that:
The submitted photo is their original work.
They have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the photo.
The photo does not violate the rights of any third party.
The photo complies with all applicable content guidelines provided on the entry page.
IGA reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate, offensive, or not in keeping with the spirit of the Sweepstakes.
A total of three (3) prizes will be awarded:
Grand Prize (1 Winner): One (1) $750 Visa Gift Card
Second Place (1 Winner): One (1) $500 Visa Gift Card
Third Place (1 Winner): One (1) $250 Visa Gift Card
Gift Card terms and conditions apply. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution is permitted except at IGA’s sole discretion. IGA reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Winners will be selected by a panel of IGA-appointed judges based on criteria such as creativity, originality, and adherence to the holiday ugly sweater theme. Judging will occur between December 31, 2025 and January 7, 2026. Judges’ decisions are final in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
Potential winners will be notified by email or phone within five (5) days following judging. Each winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release (where permitted by law) within the timeframe specified by IGA. Failure to respond to notifications or complete required documents may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of IGA, which are final. IGA is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, or undeliverable entries or communications, or for any technical errors.
IGA reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes.
By entering, participants grant IGA and its affiliates the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute submitted photos and entrant names for promotional and marketing purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
By entering, participants release and hold harmless IGA, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion partners, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, possession, or misuse of any prize.
Personal information collected during the Sweepstakes will be handled in accordance with IGA’s Privacy Policy. Information will only be used for administration of the Sweepstakes. Participants will also have the option to register to receive marketing emails from IGA at the time of entry. Consent to receive marketing communications is not required to participate or win and may be revoked at any time.
