TheArtList.com's Artist of the Month contest is open to all artists and photographers working in any medium or genre, who have not been selected as a winner in previous contests.

No purchase is required. Simply upload an image of your work (2mb size limit). It's that easy!

Deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm EST on the 25th day of the contest month (i.e., contest started on Jan. 1st = deadline of Jan. 25th at 11:59 pm EST). Winners are announced in the monthly email newsletter and also on social media at the beginning of the month following the contest.

The 1st place winner will be sent a simple interview questionnaire to compete for their featured AOM page on TheArtList.com website. This questionnaire and 5-6 images of work will need to be sent back to TheArtList.com by 11:59 pm EST on the last day of the contest month (i.e., contest started on Jan. 1st = questionnaire must be returned by Jan. 31st at 11:59 pm EST). To see our previous winners, please go to: https://www.theartlist.com/featured-artists

1st Place: 

• Featured Artist interview page on TheArtList.com website that showcases several additional pieces of your work.
• Showcased in TheArtList's monthly email newsletter. 
• $75 Gift Certificate to JerrysArtarama.com.
• Promoted on TheArtList.com's vast social media network that includes thousands of artists, art enthusiasts, galleries, and other organizations.
• Winning submission featured on our Facebook account banner until the end of the month.

2nd Place: 

• Showcased in TheArtList's monthly email newsletter. 
• $50 Gift Certificate to JerrysArtarama.com.
• Promoted on TheArtList.com's vast social media network that includes thousands of artists, art enthusiasts, galleries, and other organizations.

3rd Place:

• Showcased in TheArtList's monthly email newsletter. 
• $25 Gift Certificate to JerrysArtarama.com.
• Promoted on TheArtList.com's vast social media network that includes thousands of artists, art enthusiasts, galleries, and other organizations.

4th Place - Viewer's Choice: 

• Voted on by our wonderful community of artists and followers. Highest # of votes will be named Viewer's Choice! Voting closes at midnight of deadline date.
• Showcased in TheArtList's monthly email newsletter. 
• Promoted on TheArtList.com's vast social media network that includes thousands of artists, art enthusiasts, galleries, and other organizations.
• PLEASE NOTE: There is no cash or gift card award for Viewer's Choice selection.

Selection:

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners are juried and selected by TheArtList.com Editors, NOT by the highest number of votes.
• 4th place Viewer's Choice is selected by most audience votes.

TheArtList.com collects personal information such as name, address, location for our artist of the month calls.

Any image submitted to our Artist of the Month calls may be used for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to TheArtList.com. However, we will always ask for permission first. Copyright and all other rights ALWAYS remain that of the artist.
