The La Jolla Cosmetic Mom Deserves a Halo contest asks fans to nominate a special mom in their life who, by virtue of her awesomeness, deserves not just an angel’s halo but a little pampering with a Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser treatment at La Jolla Cosmetic (LJC) as well. Fill out our contest form, include a photo or video, and be sure to write a convincing paragraph or two about why people should vote for your nominated mom to win.
One (1) winner will be selected and announced on May 15, 2023, via email, Instagram, Facebook, and other LJC social media platforms. This contest begins May 2, 2023, and voting ends at 11:59 pm (PDT) May 14, 2023.

Terms and Conditions for Mom Deserves a Halo Contest
This contest is void where prohibited by applicable law. The contest is open only to entrants who are 18 years and older. Winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release as a condition to the delivery of the applicable prize.

IMPORTANT: We expressly reserve the right to disqualify any entries that we believe in good faith are generated by a so-called spam or automated e-mail program or via scripts and automated submission. By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. The one (1) contest winner and three (3) runners-up will be announced on May 15, 2023, via e-blast and LJCSC social media platforms.
Prizes
Grand Prize:
The nomination with the most votes will win a Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser treatment of the full face, neck, and chest. (Total value $2,700) Since this is a medical procedure, the winning mom must be a candidate for treatment. While the Halo laser treatment is safe and effective for most skin types, suitability for treatment can only be determined by a personal consultation with our qualified medical staff. If the highest vote-getter is not a candidate for treatment, the next highest number of votes will be selected. Entries and prizes are nontransferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. No substitutions are permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal, less, or greater monetary value or cash value for any prize. Winners shall be responsible and liable for all federal, state, and local taxes on the value of their prize. The result of the contest will be announced on May 15, 2023.

Selection
Winner must claim their prize within seven (14) business days after the date of notification of such prize. A contest winner’s failure to respond to the prize notification within the specified seven (14) business days will be considered such contest winner’s forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible entries. The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting the entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered. The decisions of the judges are final and binding in all matters relating to this contest.
All prizes offered are being provided “as is” with no warranty or guarantee by Sponsor, either express or implied. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturer’s terms, therefore, and winner agrees to look solely to such manufacturer(s) for any such warranty and/or guarantee. No transfer, substitution, upgrade, credit, refund, or cash equivalent for prizes is allowed except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of prizes. If a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner will be selected. All federal, state, or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from this contest will be the sole responsibility of each winner. Except where prohibited by law, the winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes winner’s permission for the Contest Entities and those acting under their authority to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state only) on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, for advertising or promotional purposes without review or further compensation.
The intellectual rights to the Submission, if any, will remain with the Entrants, except that these terms do not supersede any other assignment or grant of rights according to any other separate agreements between Entrants and other parties. As a condition of entry, Entrants agree that Sponsor shall have the right to use, copy, modify, and make available the entry in connection with the operation, conduct, administration, advertising, and promotion of the Contest via communication to the public, including, but not limited to the right to make screenshots, animations and clips available to the public for promotional and publicity purposes. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for, and winner’s consent to, Sponsor and its agencies to use the winner’s name, likeness, and/or entry for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. To the extent permitted by law, Entrants agree to hold Sponsor and each of its parent, subsidiaries, agents, directors, officers, employees, representatives and assigns harmless from any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Contest and/or use or acceptance of any prize won, except to the extent that any death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of the Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the Prize. An Entrant may be prohibited from participating in this Contest if, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the Entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other Entrants, the Sponsor or associated agencies.
No recourse to judicial or other procedures
To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, to seek injunctive relief, or to make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Contest are hereby excluded, and any Entrant expressly waives any and all such rights. Entrants agree that these official rules are governed by the laws of the state of California.
Warranty and Indemnity
Entrants certify that their Submission is original, that they are the sole and exclusive owner and right holder of the submitted Submission, and that they have the right to submit the Submission in the Contest. Each Entrant agrees not to submit any Submission that (1) infringes any third party proprietary, intellectual property, industrial property, personal rights or other rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or confidentiality obligation; (2) includes any personally identifiable information about any person other than the Entrant; or (3) otherwise violates applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each Entrant indemnifies and agrees to keep indemnified the Sponsor at all times from and against any liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses resulting from any act, default, or omission of the Entrant and/or a breach of any warranty set forth herein. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each Entrant indemnifies and agrees to keep indemnified the Sponsor at all times from and against any liability, actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses for or in respect of which the Sponsor may become liable by reason of or related or incidental to any act, default or omission by an Entrant under these official rules, including without limitation resulting from or in relation to any breach, non-observance, act or omission whether negligent or otherwise, pursuant to these official rules by an Entrant.
Elimination
Any false information provided within the context of the Contest by any Entrant concerning identity, ownership of the content of the Submission, postal address, telephone number, ownership of right or non-compliance with these rules or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the Entrant from the Contest. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any Submission that it believes in its sole and unfettered discretion infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party or otherwise does not comply with these official rules.
Internet
Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operations or transmission. Sponsor is not responsible for theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind. Sponsor is not responsible for inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof, except to the extent that any death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of the Sponsor. If, for any reason, the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, disruption or termination of the Contest Site for any reason or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to immediately cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Caution: Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such Entrant to the fullest extent of the law.
Severability
If any provision(s) of these official rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
