Edinburgh Connections
The annual Student Photography Competition at the University of Edinburgh is run by Edinburgh Global for our diverse student community.
The competition theme, Edinburgh Connections, encourages you to think about the ways we connect with the city and campus, with our local and global communities, with the natural environment and sustainability, and how we feel connected from across the world.
There are four competition categories:
- City – Life in Edinburgh
- Community – Thriving communities
- Nature – Wildlife and sustainability
- Global experiences – Studying around the world.
Submit your entry by 17 February 2026 for your chance to win one of eight vouchers or see your entry displayed around the campus next year.
