ELIGIBILITY.
No purchase necessary. This Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to residents residing in the 50 United States, as well as eligible International residents, excluding the following countries in which Harney & Sons Fine Teas (the “Organization”) does not currently ship to (Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Lithuania, Moldova, Republic of Slovakia, Slovenia). Employees, directors, officers and principals of the Organization, its subsidiaries, affiliates, contractors, agents and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants (the “Entrants”) agree to allow the Organization to contact them throughout the Sweepstakes and after the Sweepstakes via email promotions. Entrants also agree to waive any rights their state or country of residence may provide in regard to sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
There are a variety of options to enter this Sweepstakes. While making a purchase is an option, no purchase is necessary to enter.
Round 1
During the first round, Entrants may enter via one, two or all of the following:
Purchase any of the 16 qualifying teas desired
Select 8 qualifying teas on the online bracket
Comment with 1 of the qualifying tea blends on the Organization’s Facebook or Instagram post.
Round 2
During the second round, Entrants may enter via one or both of the following:
Select 4 of the qualifying teas on online bracket
Comment with 4 of the qualifying tea hashtags on the Organization’s Facebook or Instagram post and tag a friend
Round 3
During the third round, Entrants may enter via one or both of the following:
Select 2 of the qualifying teas on online bracket
Comment with 2 of the qualifying tea hashtags on the Organization’s Facebook or Instagram post and tag a friend
Round 4
During the fourth round, Entrants may enter via one, two or all of the following:
Purchase any of the qualifying teas online with the appropriate promo code
Select 1 of the qualifying teas on online bracket
Comment with 1 of the qualifying tea hashtags on the Organization’s Facebook or Instagram post and tag a friend
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Sweepstakes starts on or around 8 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on March 4, 2020 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on March 29, 2020 (the "Promotion Period").
SELECTION OF WINNERS
Qualified Entrants will be eligible to win one of four (4) $100 gift cards. Winners will be selected, from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing conducted by a representative of the Organization and notified after April 1, 2020. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means are prohibited and will be automatically disqualified. Decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by email for further instructions.
PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING
Each winner will receive a $100 Harney gift card. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the U.S. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Winners will be notified via email. Failure to respond within 48 hours will mean the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected. No cash alternative or substitution of any prizes will be offered. No prize transfer is permitted. Limit one prize per Entrant. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and the decisions of the Organization are final and binding in all respects.
All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By participating and accepting a prize, so long as there is no legal prohibition, winners agree to the use of their names for advertising or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to them relating to the Organization or this Sweepstakes, and releases any and all rights to said use without further compensation.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
All entrants release the Organization, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of the Organization and the Sweepstakes from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages or loss.
The Organization is not responsible for entries that are corrupted or otherwise not received correctly or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email, or on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participant's or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Sweepstakes. The Organization assumes no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. The Organization assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, including lost, late or misdirected entries. The Organization is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the Sweepstakes, or defraud the Organization in any way may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Entrants engaging in any of the foregoing activities will be disqualified, and any prizes won will be forfeited.
If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organization which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Organization reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
