Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Sponsor: A Place for Rover, Inc., 720 Olive Way, STE 1900, Seattle WA 98101 (“Sponsor”). This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram. By entering this Sweepstakes, you are providing information to Sponsor.

Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are over the age of 18 (or, if different, the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence). Directors, officers and employees of Sponsor and any of its respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, development and promotional partners, and advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each, are not eligible to win any prizes.

Entry Period: This Sweepstakes consists of a single entry phase corresponding to an Instagram post on Rover’s official Instagram page (@roverdotcom). The entry period begins on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, once the official Pup-Friendly Watch Party Giveaway Post is published, and all entries must be submitted via Instagram comment by Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) to be eligible (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received by Sponsor during this designated Entry Period.

How to Enter: To enter, you must be logged into your registered Instagram account (registration is free at www.instagram.com). During the Entry Period, you must complete the following steps while logged into your account:
(1) Visit Rover’s official Instagram page (@roverdotcom) and locate the official Pup-Friendly Watch Party Giveaway Post;
(2) “Like” the Post
(3) Follow (@roverdotcom) on Instagram
(4) Comment on the official giveaway post and answer the prompt “If your pet were on the soccer field, who would they be?! Tell us in the comments!”
Entry Limits: Each comment on the official giveaway post that answers the prompt “If your pet were on the soccer field, who would they be?! Tell us in the comments!” will be considered as one (1) entry ("Entry"). There is a limit of (1) one Entry per account. Multiple comments from the same account will not grant additional entries.
The Entry must: (a) be submitted in digital form via the Instagram page as listed above; (b) be suitable for general audiences and not offensive, obscene, defamatory or illegal; (c) be original (and you must own or control the copyright to your Entry and have sufficient rights to submit the work to this Sweepstakes and to grant permission to Sponsor to use the Entry, as described below); and (d) not violate the rights of others or any policies or terms of Instagram.
By entering this Sweepstakes, you certify that you have complied with and accept these Official Rules and are eligible to win, and you give your express permission to be contacted by the Sponsor (and third-parties directed by Sponsor) through your Instagram account and at any email address or telephone number you provide in connection with this Sweepstakes. You also agree that all decisions of Sponsor in administering the Sweepstakes are within Sponsor’s sole discretion and are final.
Winner Selection: All entrants/entries are subject to verification at Sponsor’s sole discretion. For example, Sponsor reserves the right to invalidate an Entry that breaches the Entry Limits or requirements. After the Entry Period closes, a representative from Sponsor will review all eligible Entries received that have not been removed or otherwise disqualified.The random drawing and announcement for the Online Giveaway will take place on July 10, 2026, after the Entry Period closes .
The winning Entry will be notified by direct message (DM) to their Instagram account used to submit the Entry (the “Winner Notification”). Potential winner may be required, within seven (7) days of Winner Notification being sent, to: (1) provide to Sponsor further contact and residence information; and to (2) acceptance of these Official Rules. In the event that a potential winner does not timely satisfy all of the above requirements, disqualification may result and an alternate winner may be selected based on the criteria listed above.
Prizes: One (1) prize package will be awarded to the winner. The prize consists of:

One (1) white Rover-branded pet bandana
One (1) Rover-branded sticker
One (1) coupon for Rover credits with value up to US $50
Coupon terms and conditions: Applies only to new http://rover.com customers (one per household) using a valid, unexpired coupon to book a service for the first time through http://rover.com. The $50 coupon value will appear in your Rover account once redeemed and will be applied toward qualifying service(s) purchased (not including applicable taxes, if any) in a single booking. Any coupon value in excess of amount of first booking will be forfeited. May not be combined with other offers. No processing fee. Void where prohibited. Bookings and services are subject to the http://rover.com Terms of Service. Promotion code may not be re-posted to other websites without http://rover.com approval. Approximate retail value of Prize: Up to US $100

Any difference between the approximate retail value and the actual value of the Prize will not be awarded. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed or accepted by the applicable entrant within seven days after delivery may, at Sponsor’s discretion, be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). All federal, state and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of any Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Sponsor’s License to Use Entry: By entering the Sweepstakes, you grant to Sponsor (and any division or affiliate of Sponsor), without additional compensation: (a) the right to use and publish your name, likeness and other submission information, and (b) a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to display, publish, reproduce, communicate to the public, perform, distribute, adapt, edit, modify, translate, create derivative works based on, and otherwise use and sublicense, your Entry, or any portion thereof, via Instagram Sponsor’s website, and in Sponsor’s trade, advertising or other promotional materials in any media, without further compensation or notification to, or permission from, you or any third party. For these purposes, you (or the photographer/creator of the Entry, if not you) waive all “moral rights” under any applicable law to either object to modification of your Entry or require artistic credit in conjunction with your Entry. To the extent such waivers are not permitted by applicable law, you (or the photographer/creator) agree not to enforce such moral rights against Sponsor. You agree that it is your sole responsibility to obtain all permissions and releases necessary for the grant of the rights contained in this paragraph. You also agree to take, at Sponsor’s expense (but without compensation to you), any further action (including, without limitation, execution of affidavits, licenses, and other documents) reasonably requested by Sponsor to effect, perfect, or confirm Sponsor’s rights set forth in these Official Rules. Sponsor will have no obligation to publish, use or retain any Entry you submit or to return any such Entry to you.
Non-Infringing Entry Materials: You represent and warrant that (a) you have the right to grant the rights granted in these Official Rules or, alternatively, you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to use and submit your Entry in connection with the Sweepstakes and to provide all the rights specified in these Official Rules; and (b) your Entry and the use of your Entry as contemplated in these Official Rules does not and will not violate, misappropriate, or infringe upon any law or regulation or the rights of any third party, including without limitation any copyright, trademark, or any rights of publicity or privacy, or any other intellectual property or other rights.
Identity of Entrant: If a dispute arises about the identity of the entrant, the authorized account holder of the Instagram account through which the Entry was submitted at the time of Entry will be considered the entrant. An authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an Instagram account by Instagram. Potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized holder of the Instagram account associated with a winning Entry.

Release of Liability: Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries or for any technical or human error in administration of this Sweepstakes and accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from an entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes. By entering this Sweepstakes, you release Sponsor, Instagram, and each of its affiliates and representatives from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use a prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses, and damages related to personal injuries, death, and damage to or destruction of property, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), or warranty, or any other theory.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

While social media actions on Instagram are an acceptable method of entry, participants may also enter the Sweepstakes completely free of charge and without social media action by sending an email to social@rover.com with the subject line "ROVER’S PUP-FRIENDLY WATCH PARTY - INSTAGRAM GIVEAWAY" and including their full name and the email address associated with their Rover account. Email entries will receive equal consideration and carry the exact same odds of winning as entries submitted via Instagram.

This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed, interpreted, and enforced under the laws of the State of Washington. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, and is void where prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right to amend these Official Rules or to suspend terminate this Sweepstakes at any time. Any provision of these Official Rules deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the extent permissible, and the remainder of these Official Rules will remain in effect.
