THE CO-OPERATIVE HUNTERS CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR RESIDENTS OF NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, NUNAVUT AND YUKON ONLY AND IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW

1.    How to Enter – No purchase necessary. Entrants may enter by submitting their contact information electronically at 2025 Hunters, Trappers & Fishers Sponsorship (woobox.com) (the “Website). Entrants are permitted to submit only one (1) entry each. The contest starts at 9:00 AM local time, September 19, 2025. Selected contestants will be required to first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical aid before being declared a winner.

2.    Prizes – There is a total of thirty-three (33) prizes, each prize is a $750 Co-op gift card available to be won to support entrants’ purchases of hunting supplies and equipment. There will be a draw for one (1) of the $750 Co-op gift cards for each of the thirty-two (32) Member-owner co-operatives of Arctic Co-operatives Limited (“Member Co-ops”) and one (1) draw for 8291292 Canada Ltd. (Arctic Ventures Marketplace), a subsidiary of Arctic Co-operatives Limited in Iqaluit, NU. These draws will take place on October 17, 2025. Each Member Co-op and Arctic Ventures Marketplace reserves the right to make prize substitutions of equivalent value in the event of unavailability of the gift card or any aspect thereof for reasons beyond the control of the applicable Member Co-op. The prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution by the winner, cannot be transferred and are not convertible to cash. Winners are encouraged to take pictures while out on the land using the hunting supplies purchased with the Prize and send such pictures to the Member Co-op.

3.    Selection of Winners – The winners will be selected from all eligible entries received, in a random draw for each Member Co-op and Arctic Ventures Marketplace and announced by November 3rd, 2025 by the Arctic Co-operatives Limited Communications Department. Winners will be contacted by the Arctic Co-ops Communications Department by e-mail to the email provided in the winners’ entry submissions. If any winner is unable to be reached in that manner, or if a response is not received, within 48 hours of the draw, such winner will forfeit their prize and another eligible entry will be drawn. All prizes will be hand delivered to or picked up in person by the confirmed winners. The Member Co-op shall not be responsible for any prizes lost, stolen or damaged.

4.    Contest Closing Date - The contest will close on October 17, 2025. 

5.    Contest Eligibility - Entrants must be 16 years of age or older and a resident of Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or Yukon to participate in this contest. Employees and volunteers of a Member Co-op and Arctic Ventures Marketplace are eligible to win this contest.

6.    Chances of Winning - The chances of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received before the contest closing date in accordance with these rules.

7.    Release and Waiver - Winners may be required to complete, sign, and return a declaration, release and waiver of liability in the form provided by the Co-op within the time specified by the Co-op, and must have abided by the contest rules. Failure to return the duly completed declaration, release and waiver form, if required, within the time stipulated or failure to abide by these rules will result in disqualification and another entry will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.

8.    Decisions Final - By entering the contest, entrants agree to be bound by these contest rules and agree that all decisions made by Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace with respect to all aspects of this contest are final and not subject to challenge. These rules may be amended at any time by Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace without notice. Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace expressly reserves the right to take any steps it deems necessary in its absolute discretion, including the limiting of entries and the exclusion of entrants, in order to ensure that the contest is conducted in a fair way for all entrants and for Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace.

9.    No Liability – In addition to the other limitation of liability clauses contained in these rules, Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace and their respective employees, agents, representatives, promotional agencies and assignees shall not be responsible in any way for loss or damage arising from the use of or, bear any liability whatsoever in any way attributable to, the prizes awarded in this contest, or with items purchased with the prizes awarded in this contest, or the entry by any entrant herein. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace assumes no responsibility or liability for any risk associated with the acceptance or use of the prizes awarded as part of this contest.

10. Entries belong to The Co-op - All entries become the property of the Arctic Co-operatives Limited and will not be returned.

11. Lost Entries - Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace are not responsible for any lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or delayed entries.

12. Consent to Use and Personal Information - By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use and publication of their name, photograph, voice or statements in connection with the contest or any subsequent similar contest held by Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace or for any other promotion, without payment or compensation other than the chance to win the prize awarded. The personal information obtained from the contest entry form will not be used or disclosed by Arctic Co-operatives Limited, the Member Co-op and/or Arctic Ventures Marketplace for any purpose other than general contest administration and the purposes set forth herein.

13. Applicable Laws - This contest is subject to all applicable, federal, provincial/territorial and municipal laws and regulations.

14. Cancellations, Suspensions or Modifications – Arctic Co-operatives Limited may, in its discretion, cancel, suspend or modify this contest, without liability to anyone whatsoever. If this is an online contest and for any reason the online portion is not capable of being completed as planned, including but not limited to computer lines, bugs, tampering, technical failures or other causes beyond its control, Arctic Co-operatives Limited reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the online portion of the contest.

15. Email Addresses - In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an email address, the winning entry will be deemed to be made by the person who was assigned the email address by an internet service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the email address in question at the time of entry.
