Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor and Administrator
The Love My Harris Teeter Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Harris Teeter, LLC, 701 Crestdale Road, Matthews, NC 28105 (“Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes is administered on behalf of Sponsor by Buonasera Media Services, P.O. Box 7185, Columbia, SC 29202 (“Administrator”). Administrator will collect entries through Woobox, verify eligibility, administer the random drawing using Woobox, and coordinate notification and verification of potential winners.
2. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 10, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on November 15, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Administrator’s designated computer system is the official timekeeping device.
3. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, Administrator, their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, vendors directly involved in administration or fulfillment, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible. “Immediate family” includes spouse, parent, child, sibling, and the spouses of each. “Household members” are persons who share the same residence, whether related or not. Void outside the listed jurisdictions and where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. How to Enter
During the Sweepstakes Period, an eligible entrant must: (a) create and publish an original photo or video on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook depicting something the entrant loves about Harris Teeter; (b) include #LoveMyHarrisTeeterSweepstakes clearly and conspicuously in the post caption or accompanying text; (c) comply with applicable platform disclosure requirements, including TikTok’s commercial content disclosure setting where applicable; (d) keep the post and account public and accessible so Sponsor and Administrator can verify the entry through completion of winner verification; and (e) complete and submit the official Sweepstakes registration form including the requested information and a valid link or other information needed to locate the qualifying post.
Stories and other temporary or disappearing content are not eligible.
Limit one (1) base Entry per person and email address per calendar day. Each daily Entry must correspond to a new qualifying social post containing materially different photo or video content from that entrant’s prior submitted Entries. Reposting, resubmitting, or linking to a previously submitted post does not create an additional base Entry. For the daily limit, a calendar day runs from 12:00:00 a.m. ET through 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Entries must be received through the official registration form by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on November 15, 2026. An Entry that is deleted, made private, removed, inaccessible, or otherwise cannot be verified before completion of winner verification may be deemed ineligible.
5. Referral Bonus Entries
After submitting a valid Entry, an entrant may receive a unique referral link or other referral mechanism through the Sweepstakes website. For each unique eligible person who uses the entrant’s designated referral method and subsequently completes a valid Sweepstakes Entry, the referring entrant will receive five (5) bonus Entries. The referred person must independently satisfy all eligibility and entry requirements. Self-referrals, duplicate or fictitious identities or email addresses, automated referrals, multiple accounts created to generate referrals, or other fraudulent or manipulated referral activity are prohibited. Bonus Entries will be awarded only for verified, eligible referred entrants. Sponsor and Administrator may invalidate referral Entries reasonably determined to result from fraud, manipulation, or abuse.
6. Entry Content Requirements
Each Entry must be the entrant’s original work and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party. By submitting an Entry, entrant represents and warrants that the entrant created the content and has all rights needed to submit and license it; has permission from every identifiable person appearing in it; and, if a minor appears, is the minor’s parent/legal guardian. Entries may not contain material for which the entrant lacks necessary rights or permissions, including copyrighted music or third-party photos/video; depict illegal activity; or contain obscene, offensive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, dangerous, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate material. Sponsor may disqualify content that violates these Rules, third-party rights, applicable platform rules, or Sponsor’s reasonable brand standards.
7. License to Submitted Content
Entrant retains ownership of the Entry. By submitting an Entry, entrant grants Sponsor and its affiliates, agencies, licensees and designees a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable and sublicensable license to reproduce, publish, display, distribute, edit, adapt, modify, create derivative works from, publicly perform, and otherwise use the Entry, in whole or in part, together with entrant’s name, social media handle and accompanying statements, in any media now known or later developed, including social media, websites, digital and paid advertising, print, in-store materials, and other advertising, promotional and marketing communications, without further notice, approval or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is under no obligation to use any Entry. Entrant represents that entrant has all permissions necessary to grant these rights.
8. Prizes
Three (3) prizes will be awarded:
Grand Prize: one (1) $1,000 Harris Teeter gift card, one (1) Harris Teeter apron, and one (1) Harris Teeter cutting board. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,075.
Second Prize: one (1) $500 Harris Teeter gift card, one (1) Harris Teeter apron, and one (1) Harris Teeter cutting board. ARV: $575.
Third Prize: one (1) $250 Harris Teeter gift card, one (1) Harris Teeter apron, and one (1) Harris Teeter cutting board. ARV: $325.
Total ARV of all prizes: $1,975. Prizes are nontransferable and are not redeemable for cash. No prize substitution is permitted by a winner. Sponsor may substitute a non-cash merchandise component with an item of equal or greater value if the stated item becomes unavailable, to the extent permitted by law. All federal, state and local taxes and other costs associated with acceptance or use of a prize that are not expressly stated are the winner’s responsibility. The Grand Prize winner will receive a Form 1099. Prizes will be mailed to a mailing address supplied by the winner. Sponsor and Administrator intend to complete prize fulfillment no later than December 31, 2026; however, prize delivery will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any shorter legally required delivery period.
9. Winner Selection and Odds
On or about November 20, 2026, Administrator will use Woobox to conduct a random drawing from all eligible base Entries and eligible bonus Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Three potential winners will be selected for the Grand Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible base Entries and bonus Entries received.
10. Potential Winner Notification and Verification
Administrator will send initial potential-winner notifications to the email addresses supplied on the registration forms no later than November 23, 2026. Each initially selected potential winner must respond to the initial notification and provide requested information and documentation within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date and time the notification is sent. Potential winners must verify eligibility and execute and return an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, where lawful. A potential winner is not an official winner until Sponsor or Administrator has completed verification and confirmed the individual as an official winner. If an initially selected potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the fourteen-day period, fails to provide requested verification or documentation, is ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these Rules, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate may be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible Entries. Because of the December 31, 2026 fulfillment target, an alternate potential winner may be given a shorter response period stated in the alternate notification. Sponsor and Administrator will never require a potential winner to provide payment or credit-card information to claim a prize.
11. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, image, voice, social media handle, city and state of residence, statements, and Entry for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, notice or approval. Sponsor may publicly announce verified winners.
12. General Conditions
Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, referral system, Sweepstakes website, or operation of the Sweepstakes; submits fraudulent or automated Entries; provides false information; violates these Rules; or engages in conduct intended to manipulate the promotion. If fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, platform disruption, or another circumstance beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control compromises the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may, subject to applicable law, suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if appropriate, award prizes by random drawing from eligible, non-suspect Entries received before the affected event. Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions concerning eligibility, compliance, and administration are final and binding to the extent permitted by law.
13. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Administrator, Woobox, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from claims, damages, losses or liabilities arising from or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be waived.
14. Social Media Platforms
This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., or Woobox. Entrants understand that information submitted through the Sweepstakes registration process is being provided to Sponsor and Administrator, not to those social media platforms. Entrants must comply with the applicable platform’s terms, policies, and disclosure requirements. TikTok entrants must use TikTok’s commercial content disclosure functionality when required by TikTok’s then-current policies.
15. Privacy
Personal information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used for administration, eligibility verification, winner notification, prize fulfillment, fraud prevention, and other purposes described in these Rules and Sponsor’s applicable privacy policy, which can be found at www.harristeeter.com/i/privacy-policy. Entry into the Sweepstakes does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing communications where separate consent is required.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction/Limitation of Liability
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants, Administrator or Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of North Carolina, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. By entering, participating or accepting any prize in this sweepstakes, you agree that North Carolina courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this sweepstakes and that venue shall be in Matthews, North Carolina. BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
17. Winners List
For the names of verified winners, send a request to 701 Crestdale Rd, Matthews, NC 28105. with “Love My Harris Teeter Sweepstakes Winners List” in the address line or request. Requests must be received by 12/31/26.
