Rules and Regulations
Important: Please read these rules before entering this Sweepstakes (the " Sweepstakes"). By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all the eligibility requirements below.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States of America who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees and directors of Ferrellgas, L.P. d/b/a Blue Rhino (Ferrellgas), and its affiliates, and any advertising or promotion agencies or contractors, who are under contract or have performed work on behalf of Ferrellgas during (or during the period six months prior to) the Promotion Period, and the immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each) and members of the same household of each of the above, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, Entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules and to the decision of the Administrator and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules.
A WINNER WILL BE SELECTED EACH FRIDAY DURING PROMOTION PERIOD. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THE ODDS OF WINNING DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED.
The Sweepstakes begins December 1, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST) and ends December 30, 2022, at 11:59 a.m. CST (the “Promotion Period”).
Entry: You may enter by completing the form and telling us what’s on your grilling wish list. Entrant represents that he or she has all necessary rights to grant a license to the Administrator to publish and reuse posts for any purpose without compensation and that Entrant hereby grants such license together with right to use Entrant’s name. No other method of entry is permitted. No mechanically reproduced or automatically generated entries are permitted. Incomplete, illegible, or garbled entries will be disqualified. If you enter using a mobile device, standard data charges may apply from your carrier.
As sponsors, Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas may display all Entries on both Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas social media platforms. By uploading or submitting your Entry, you agree that your Entry conforms to the Entry Guidelines and Content Restrictions listed below (collectively, the “Guidelines and Restrictions”) and that Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas, in its sole discretion, may remove your Entry and disqualify you from the Contest Sweepstakes if it believes, in its sole discretion, that your Entry fails to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions. By uploading or submitting your Entry, in addition to rights granted below, you: (a) grant to sponsors Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas all rights necessary to display your Entry on Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas websites and social media pages; (b) hereby waive any so-called moral (e.g., creative) rights in your Entry; (c) represent and warrant that you have the right to grant the rights granted in these Official Rules; and (d) represent and warrant that your Entry and its use as contemplated in these Official Rules does not and will not violate, misappropriate, or infringe upon any law or regulation or the rights of any third party, including any copyright, trademark, or any rights of publicity or privacy, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights.
Winner Selection. Every Friday at 12 p.m. CST during Promotion Period, one (1) winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received. The winner will be selected based on random selection.
Prizes. Each week of the Promotion Period, one (1) winner will receive a free Blue Rhino tank exchange, valued at $19.99. Prizes cannot be sold, transferred or redeemed for cash value.
For All Entries: You may submit one Entry during each week of the Promotion Period. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limit, whether through multiple or different applicable accounts or means, will be void. Entrant must have signed permission from all individuals (parents/legal guardian of children, if featured and if not your own) that appear in the Entry to use their names and images in the Entry and to grant the rights set forth herein. If requested by sponsors Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas, Entrant must be able to provide such permissions in a form acceptable to Sponsors. By uploading or submitting an Entry, Entrant grants to Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas (and Sponsors’ licensees and assigns) a royalty-free, assignable, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such Entries in whole or in part, and otherwise use the Entry in all media now known or hereafter devised, throughout the universe, in any way Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas see fit including, but not limited to, entertainment, instruction/education, promotional, advertising and/or marketing or trade association purposes. In connection with all rights granted herein, Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas (and Sponsors’ licensees and assigns) shall also have the right to incorporate Entries, in whole or in part, into other works, in any form, media, or technology now known or hereafter developed. If necessary, Entrant will sign any necessary documentation that may be required for Blue Rhino and Ferrellgas or its designees to make use of the non-exclusive rights Entrant is granting to use the Entry.
Compliance and Winner Notification: Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Announcement and instructions for the Prize will be sent by private message to the potential Prize winner’s email or social media account, including requesting the potential winner to provide his/her complete first and last name (no initials), email address, physical mailing address, telephone number, and date of birth. Once the potential winner’s initial information is received, Administrator will send voucher for Prize in the mail within approximately twenty-four (24) hours. Potential winner has forty-eight (48) hours to respond to the Administrator’s email with the requested information or the Prize may, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, be forfeited. All federal, state, and local taxes imposed on the acceptance of a Prize are solely the responsibility of each winner. Administrator will attempt to notify each potential winner as set forth above, but Administrator and Sponsor are not responsible for any undelivered direct messages, emails, or other attempts at contact, including, without limitation, emails that are not received because of a winner’s privacy or spam filter settings which can divert any Contest Sweepstakes email, including any winner notification email, to a spam or junk folder. The right to receive a Prize is non-assignable, non-transferable, and no Prize substitution or exchange will be allowed, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value. Any and all other costs and expenses not expressly stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST Sweepstakes MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. By accepting a prize, winners agree to release and hold Ferrellgas, and its divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, sales representatives, contractors, and advertising and promotion agencies harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. Privacy Policy: Any personal identifiable information collected during an Entrant’s participation in this Contest Sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor or its agent and used by Sponsor, its affiliates, agents, and marketers for the sole purpose of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules, in accordance with Sponsor’s Website Privacy Policy at https://bluerhino.com/privacy-policy. Please note, Sponsor’s Website Privacy Policy follows its parent company, Ferrellgas Partners, L.P.’s Privacy Policy.
Winners List: To obtain the name(s) of the Prize Winner(s) for the given Promotion Period, available within seven (7) days of the end of a given Promotion Period, visit https://www.facebook.com/BlueRhino.
