NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THE PASSPORT TO ITALY SWEEPSTAKES (THE “SWEEPSTAKES”) BEGINS AT 12:00 A.M. EASTERN TIME ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2026, AND ENDS ON NOVEMBER 3, 2026, AT 11:59 P.M. ET (THE “PROMOTIONAL PERIOD”). THE ADMINISTRATOR’S COMPUTER WILL BE THE OFFICIAL TIME-KEEPING DEVICE FOR THE SWEEPSTAKES.
ELIGIBILITY: THE SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY (EACH AN “ENTRANT” AND COLLECTIVELY “ENTRANTS”). PROOF OF IDENTITY, AGE, AND RESIDENCY MAY BE REQUIRED. VOICE WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED. Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of Houchens Food Group, INC (“Sponsor”), Houchens Food Group, INC (“Administrator”), any prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, and advertising and promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children, and each of their respective spouses) and household members (whether or not related) of each such person, are not eligible to enter or win.
AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Receiving a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
HOW TO ENTER: Visit the link at myiga.com, pricelessiga.com, foodgiant.com, thefoodsaver.com, marketplacestores.com, or picnsave.com during the Promotional Period and complete the online entry form with the required contact information and submit as directed (Online Entry). QR codes providing access to the website may also be available at select HFG grocery stores during the Promotional Period; scanning a QR code does not itself constitute an entry. To enter by mail, without purchase or obligation, send your name (first and last name), complete mailing address, city, state, zip code, and day and evening telephone numbers with area code hand-printed on a 3-1/2” x 5” piece of paper to: Houchens Food Group “Passport to Italy” Sweepstakes, Attn. Marketing. 700 Church Street, Bowling Green, KY 42101 (“Mail Entry”). Sponsor is not responsible for delayed or late deliveries of Entries, Entries lost, misdirected or otherwise misplaced in the mail, or Entries not otherwise received, regardless of reason. All entries must be submitted or postmarked by 11:59 P.M. ET on November 3, 2026.
LIMIT: THERE IS A LIMIT OF ONE ENTRY PER PERSON FOR THE ENTIRE SWEEPSTAKES. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry based on email address, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Any potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities, registrations, or any other methods will void that participant’s entries, and that participant may be disqualified. Administrator is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, unreadable, or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified. Administrator will not accept submissions from domains identified as sources of fraudulent, automated, or malicious activity, or any email address Administrator reasonably deems to be potentially harmful to the website. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. All entries become the property of Sponsor and/or Administrator and will not be acknowledged or returned. Please also see the “Entrant’s Personal Information” section below in these Official Rules.
WINNER SELECTION: Administrator will randomly select a total of one (1) potential Sweepstakes Prize Winner on or about November 6, 2026, from among all eligible Entries received during the Promotional Period. Potential winners will be notified by email and/or telephone using the contact information provided at the time of entry, and each Entrant is solely responsible for monitoring their email account, including spam and junk folders. The potential winner will be required to agree to the rules herein and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, where legally permissible, a publicity release and/or provide other personal or tax information. Potential winners will have five (5) business days to provide all such information and to execute and return the Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and publicity release (if required by Sponsor). If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond to such notification within five (5) business days after the initial notification attempt, does not meet the stated eligibility requirements, refuses the prize, refuses to accept the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, is ineligible to accept the prize, fails to claim as directed, or is otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize, and Administrator will select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible Entries. Administrator may repeat this process a reasonable number of times (time-permitting) as necessary until the prize is awarded, subject to applicable law. If the prize remains unclaimed after that process, it will not be awarded. Subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules, the winner of a Prize will be declared an Official Prize “Winner.”
PRIZE/ODSS: There will be one (1) Prize winner selected for the Passport to Italy Sweepstakes. The Prize includes the following: ONE (1) WINNER WILL RECEIVE A SIX (6) NIGHT TRIP TO ITALY FOR THE PRIZE WINNER AND ONE (1) TRAVEL COMPANION (“GUEST”), CONSISTING OF:
Three (3) consecutive nights of hotel accommodations in one(1) standard double-occupancy room at a hotel in Rome, Italy, to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and three (3) consecutive nights of hotel accommodations in one (1) standard double-occupancy room at a hotel in Florence, Italy, to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, together with ground transportation from and to international airports in Rome and Florence, train transportation for two (2) from Rome to Florence, and two (2) booked excursions. The sponsor will transfer the remaining value of the trip to the prize winner by check to cover meals.
The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the prize is $10,000.00. Actual value may vary depending on the Prize Winner’s residence, travel dates, and fare and rate availability.
The odds of winning the Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prize is non-transferable. Prize travel must be booked no later than three (3) months of prize acceptance and must be completed within twelve (12) months of prize acceptance. Travel is subject to availability, blackout dates, and other restrictions imposed by Sponsor and the applicable travel providers. If the Prize winner’s requested dates are unavailable, Sponsor will work with Prize winner to select alternative available dates. Failure to complete the booking process within three (3) months of Prize acceptance, or to travel on the confirmed itinerary within twelve (12) months of Prize acceptance, may result in forfeiture of the Prize and selection of an alternate potential Prize Winner. No extensions of either deadline will be granted. The Prize Winner is responsible for all costs not expressly included in the Prize, including, without limitation, transportation to and from the departure airport, airport parking, airline baggage and seat-selection fees, ground transportation in Italy other than round-trip transportation between Sponsor-selected hotels and International airports, passports, visas, travel insurance, meals, gratuities, excursions beyond the two (2) booked by Sponsor, incidentals, medical expenses, and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Frequent flyer miles or credit will not be awarded. The Prize (including its individual components) may not be transferred or assigned. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part with another prize of comparable or greater value if the intended prize (or any portion thereof) is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Each Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and all other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of the Prize that are not expressly included. Sponsor or its designee may require a Winner to complete an IRS Form W-9 or provide other tax information and will issue any tax-reporting forms required by applicable law. Except where prohibited by law, the acceptance of a prize, or being accepted as a Winner, constitutes permission for Sponsor and Administrator to use the Winner’s name, hometown, likeness, statements, photos, and other personally identifiable information for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes in any media throughout the world without additional compensation, prize, incentive, consideration, consent, or review; and upon request, the Winner must provide written consent to such use.
This Sweepstakes may be canceled or postponed by Sponsor at any time in its sole discretion due to public health emergencies, epidemics, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor's reasonable control that may affect the safety or feasibility of the prize fulfillment. Special notice regarding travel: Grand Prize Winner and guest are responsible for complying with all applicable health and safety requirements in effect at the time of travel, including any protocols implemented by federal, state, or local authorities, airlines, hotels, venues, or the Sponsor. Such requirements are subject to change without notice, and failure to comply may result in denied boarding, denied entry, or removal from travel or accommodations with no compensation or alternative prize offered. Sponsor, the applicable airline, hotel staff, and their respective agents each reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to remove the Winner and/or Guest from, or to deny the Winner and/or Guest, travel or accommodations if the Winner or Guest does not comply with applicable rules or requirements, is intoxicated, presents a safety risk, engages in disruptive behavior, or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.
PRIZE TRAVEL CONDITIONS: The Prize Winner must designate one (1) Guest by the deadline specified by Sponsor. The Guest must be of the age of majority in the Guest’s jurisdiction of residence unless Sponsor expressly permits the Prize Winner’s minor child or legal ward to travel as the Guest. The Grand Prize Winner and Guest must travel together on the same itinerary on dates selected or approved by Sponsor, and must execute and return all travel, liability, publicity, and content releases required by Sponsor before travel arrangements are finalized. Once travel is booked, the Guest may not be changed except at Sponsor’s discretion. If the Prize Winner travels without a Guest, Sponsor will not provide compensation or a substitute prize for the unused portion of the prize. Sponsor will select or approve the airline, routing, airports, hotel, travel dates, and itinerary in its sole discretion, and travel is subject to availability. A passport is not required to enter the Sweepstakes or to receive a First Prize. As a condition of receiving the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize Winner and Guest must each possess, by the deadline stated in Sponsor’s written travel instructions and before travel arrangements are finalized, a valid passport and all visas, travel authorizations, immigration documents, identification, and other documentation required for the entire itinerary, entry into Italy, and lawful reentry into the United States. The Prize Winner and Guest are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all such documentation. Failure to provide satisfactory proof of the required travel documentation by the applicable deadline may result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize and selection of an alternate potential Prize Winner. Travel is subject to all applicable governmental, carrier, and destination requirements and to Sponsor’s determination that the trip can be safely, lawfully, and practicably fulfilled. If Sponsor determines that travel to Italy cannot reasonably be completed because of governmental travel restrictions or advisories, armed conflict, civil disturbance, carrier interruption, public health conditions, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor may substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, subject to applicable law.
If the originally designated Guest cannot satisfy the applicable travel-document requirements before travel is booked, the Prize Winner may designate a replacement Guest, subject to Sponsor’s approval and the requirements of these Official Rules.
PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING, AND CONTENT CREATION: As a condition of accepting the Prize, the Prize Winner and Guest agree to participate in and reasonably cooperate with Sponsor’s photography, filming, interviews, and other content-creation activities during the trip, as reasonably requested by Sponsor. Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, provide a photographer, videographer, or content production crew to document the trip, or require the Prize Winner to capture and submit photographs, videos, and other content in accordance with Sponsor's reasonable instructions. The Prize Winner and Guest grant Sponsor and its designees a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, publish, distribute, display, perform, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit any photographs, videos, recordings, interviews, or other content created during or relating to the Prize experience, whether created by Sponsor, its production crew, the winner, the guest, or on their behalf, in any media now known or later developed, for advertising, promotional, marketing, editorial, and other lawful business purposes, without further compensation, approval, or notice, except where prohibited by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Prize Winner and Guest also grant Sponsor the right to use their names, voices, likenesses, images, biographical information, and statements made during the Prize experience in connection with such content and Sponsor's promotional activities without additional compensation or permission. The Prize Winner and Guest must each execute a separate content and publicity release before travel arrangements are finalized. If the Grand Prize Winner or Guest is asked to post content regarding Sponsor or the prize on his or her personal social media accounts, Sponsor will provide written disclosure instructions, and the Grand Prize Winner and Guest must clearly and conspicuously disclose the prize relationship in accordance with those instructions and applicable Federal Trade Commission guidance.
RELEASE: By participating (a) Entrants release Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, limited liability companies, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, shareholders, directors, members, employees, licensors, and agents (collectively the “Released Parties”), from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages, of any kind caused by their participation, including the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize; (b) Entrants, by participating, agree that Released Parties will have no liability whatsoever, and shall be held harmless by Entrants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, death or destruction of property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize(s) (including any travel or activity associated thereto) or participation in this Sweepstakes; and (c) acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to a prize, including, but not limited to, the prize quality or availability.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Neither Released Parties nor any service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data or voice transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, virus or malware corruption, computer equipment, software, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected mail, or any injury or damage related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes. Neither Released Parties nor any service providers are responsible for typographical or other error in the printing of Sweepstakes materials, the administration of the Sweepstakes, or the announcement of the prize winner, including any such error as may give an erroneous indication that a prize has been won. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, RELEASED PARTIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO COOPERATE IN THE PROSECUTION OF ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL(S) AND TO PURSUE ALL REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor or Administrator’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of being executed as planned, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of Entrants, technical failures, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, public health crisis (e.g., COVID-19), earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or by other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event), Sponsor and/or Administrator shall have the right, in their discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Sweepstakes, subject to applicable law. If Sponsor or Administrator, in their sole discretion, elects to abbreviate the Sweepstakes as a result of a Force Majeure event, Sponsor and/or Administrator reserves the right to randomly award prizes from among all the eligible entries received up to the date of such Force Majeure event or otherwise modify the Sweepstakes as may be deemed fair and equitable by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event of any cancellation, termination, or suspension, notice thereof will be posted on the entry page. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. If any provision(s) of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION/DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Entrants agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any Prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively in the state courts located in Warren County, Kentucky, or the United States District Court for the District of Western Kentucky; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of- pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to, claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, Entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Kentucky, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Kentucky or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Kentucky.
The use of any non-Sponsor trademarks, service marks, logos, or other marks in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize is not meant by Sponsor to imply the endorsement of the respective owner(s) of such marks, or any affiliation of the respective owner(s) of such marks with Sweepstakes advertisements or the Sweepstakes.
WINNER’S NAME: The names of the winners will be available after December 1, 2026, and may be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Winner’s Name Passport to Italy Sweepstakes c/o Houchens Food Group, INC, PO Box 90009, Bowling Green, KY 42102, for receipt no later than March 1, 2027.
ENTRANT'S PERSONAL INFORMATION: Any personally identifiable information collected during an Entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes will be collected by Administrator in accordance with its privacy policy https://www.hfginc.com/privacy-policy and used by Sponsor, its affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules and in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Statement. Entrants are not required to supply information for marketing purposes to be eligible to win the prize, nor will providing that information increase an entrant’s chance of winning. By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to all of the terms and conditions of the Sponsor’s Privacy Statement.
