Terms and Conditions

1. Contest Organizer

The Shop to Win contest is organized by Legacy Co-op (the "Organizer") in partnership with Harvard Media (the "Partner"). By participating, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

Open to residents of Saskatchewan and Manitoba who are Legacy Co-op customers and/or members or become customers and/or members during the contest period. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, (restrictions apply for Liquor prize must be 19 years of age).  Business charges to accounts are ineligible. Employees, representatives, or agents of the Organizer or Partner, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

3. Contest Period

The contest runs from January 22, 2025, to February 5, 2025, inclusive. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM CST on February 5, 2025.

4. How to Enter

Purchase Entry: Shop at any Legacy Co-op location during the contest period and upload a valid receipt via the contest entry platform at https://bit.ly/LegacyShoptoWin Each uploaded receipt counts as one entry.
No Purchase Necessary Entry: To enter without purchase, submit an original handwritten letter including your full name, email address, phone number, and a brief explanation (50-100 words) of why you love shopping at Legacy Co-op. Send your entry to:

All no-purchase entries must be received by February 5, 2025. No-purchase entries are eligible to win the Grand Prize (trip for two to Las Vegas). However, for secondary prizes, the value of prizes awarded to no-purchase entries is capped at a maximum of $250. This cap applies to grocery, fuel, agro, and liquor purchase reimbursements. Purchases charged to personal/individual charge accounts will be offered a credit to the account for the purchase or a gift card.  
There is no limit to the number of entries; however, each receipt or no-purchase letter may only be submitted once.

5. Prizes

Grand Prize: A four-day trip for two to Las Vegas provided by Harvard Media. The trip includes:
  - Round-trip flights.
  - Airfare and hotel accommodations at Paris Hotel in Las Vegas from April 13 to April 17, 2025.
Secondary Prizes:
  - 3x "Win Your Grocery Purchase" (value up to $500 per prize).
  - 5x "Win Your Fill" (value up to $500 per prize).
  - 2x "Win Your Agro Purchase" (value up to $500 per prize).
  - 2x "Win Your Liquor Purchase" (value up to $500 per prize).

 

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected via a random draw conducted by the Organizer on or before February 7, 2025. Winners will be contacted by email or phone using the information provided at the time of entry. Winners must respond within 5 business days of being notified. If no response is received, another winner may be selected.

7. Prize Claim

Winners must provide proof of eligibility and identity upon request. Winners must successfully answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without assistance. The Grand Prize trip must be accepted as scheduled for April 13 to April 17, 2025, and cannot be rescheduled. For secondary prizes, winners must provide proof of purchase matching the uploaded receipt. Grocery, fuel, agro, or liquor purchases eligible for secondary prizes will be reimbursed via gift card up to a maximum of $500. No Purchase entries will receive a $250 prize.

8. Use of Personal Information

By entering the contest, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of contest administration and prize fulfillment. Personal information will not be used for other purposes without consent.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree to allow the Organizer and Partner to use their name, photo, and/or likeness for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation.

10. General Conditions

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time for any reason. The Organizer and Partner are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or invalid entries. Any attempt to tamper with the entry process or undermine the contest may result in disqualification.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Organizer and Partner assume no responsibility for:
Any technical issues or website downtime that may interfere with entry submission.
Any damage, loss, or injury arising from participation in the contest or acceptance of a prize.

12. Governing Law

This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the applicable laws of Canada.
