Kick for Cash Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) Official Rules 

NO PURCHASE, APPLICATION, OR USE OF SPONSOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or order at the time of entry except for the following individuals: current and former (within the last five (5) years) high school and college football players and coaches, and any current or former professional or semi-professional football players.  In addition, due to National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) rules, “prospects” as defined by the NCAA, will not be allowed to take part in the prize. NCAA rules define a “prospect” as any individual who has started classes for the ninth grade, including individuals that attend a two-year college, until the individual officially registers and enrolls in a minimum full-time program and attends any term of a four-year collegiate institution’s regular academic year. University of Nebraska-Lincoln (“UNL”)  is not allowed to publicize, or arrange for publicity of, a prospective student-athlete’s visit to UNL. Each entrant by participating in the Sweepstakes agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation. 

2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins at 3:00 p.m. Central Time (“CT”) on August 28, 2022 and will end at 9:59:59 a.m. CT on November 17, 2022. 

3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, individuals must register by going to Sweepstakes link found at  https://www.fnbo.com/huskers or https://woobox.com/z4jfwf, provide the information requested, and click where indicated to submit the entry.  Limit: one (1) entry per person.  Multiple entries are prohibited and will void all related entries.  The person entering the Sweepstakes must be the authorized holder of the associated email address, otherwise, the entry may be deemed void. In the event of a discrepancy in the identity of the potential winner, the entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address at the time of entry, and the potential winner may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that he/she is the authorized account holder of said email address.

Proof of submitting the entry does not constitute proof of delivery or entry. Each entry submission must be manually key stroked and manually entered by the individual entrant; automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot or sweepstakes service) will be disqualified and transmission from these or related email or IP addresses may be blocked, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. 

During the Sweepstakes Period, there will be seven (7) individual entry periods (each a “Entry Period”) in which to submit an entry:

Entries not selected in a particular Entry Period will be included in subsequent Entry Periods for this Sweepstakes; however, a winner of any Entry Period is not eligible to enter or win a prize in any future Entry Period. 

4. DRAWINGS: Potential winners will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries received before the end of the applicable Entry Period. Drawings will be conducted on or about 10:00 a.m. CT on the End Date of each Entry Period. The drawings will be done under the direction of Sponsor, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

5. ODDS: The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The odds of successfully completing the field goal are dependent upon the skill of each selected entrant.

6. PRIZES: Seven (7) prizes (one (1) prize for each Entry Period) will be awarded.  Each prize will consist of the following for winner and one (1) guest: two (2) tickets, two (2) pregame hospitality passes, and two (2) pregame on-field access passes to the Nebraska Cornhuskers football game at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE scheduled for the Saturday after the End Date of the applicable Entry Period. In addition, the winner will also have a chance to kick a 30 yard field goal (ball will be placed on 20 yard line) to win $5,000 (the “field goal prize”), which will be issued in the form of a check to the winner.  Field goal requirements: (a) each participant must attempt the field goal kick on their own behalf (no one may attempt to kick the field goal on behalf of another participant); (b) athletic shoes and rubber cleats are permitted (boots, sandals, and shoes with metal spikes are not permitted); (c) each  participant is required to use footballs and kickoff holder tees provided by Sponsor; (d) winners may not attempt any practice or warm-up kicks in any matter from any distance; (e) field goal attempt must be initiated from Sponsor’s designated hash mark on the field; (f) the football must go through the goal post on the fly, without bouncing or coming into contact with the ground or any item, person, or surface that would alter or enhance the flight path of the football (except the inside of the goal posts); (g) no aid of any kind may be given to any participant in this Sweepstakes; and (h) nothing may be done to the football, goal posts, participant’s footwear, or playing surface that would alter or enhance the participant’s chances of successfully completing the kick. If winner does not make the field goal, winner will receive a consolation prize of a $100 Visa gift card and Husker Athletic Partner Yeti mug.  Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize is between $310 and $5,170 (depending on whether the winner makes the field goal), with a total ARV for all prizes of between $2,170 and $36,190. All prize details, including exact seat locations, to be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor.  In addition, prize details may be adjusted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tickets are subject to standard rain-check policies and procedures. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of any prize will govern in the event the game is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, terrorism, civil disturbance, work stoppage, local, state or federal regulation, order or policy, epidemic, pandemic and other issue concerning health or safety, state of emergency or any other reason. Each winner and his/her guests agree to comply with all applicable venue rules, regulations and health or safety policies in connection with the prize. Winner agrees that tickets are awarded pursuant to a revocable, nontransferable license that is personal to that applicable winner. Winner agrees that he/she shall not sell, resell, auction, barter, assign, exchange, place in commerce, transfer, give away, donate, or otherwise convey any ticket that is received as a prize. A violation of these restrictions shall revoke winner’s license, and the tickets will not be honored. All costs and expenses associated with the prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including but not limited to lodging, transportation costs, meals, beverages, gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Some restrictions on the use of the Visa gift card may apply, and winner should carefully review the terms and conditions of use written on or provided with the Visa gift card.  Winner is responsible for the payment of all federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. No substitution, cash equivalent, or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.  

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Each potential winner will be notified via email or telephone conversation approximately one (1) hour after being selected. Although Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, choose to leave a message or messages on the potential winner’s voicemail service or answering machine, such messages are solely to facilitate contact within the two (2) hour period and do not constitute a “conversation” for purposes of these Official Rules. For conversations by email, the winner must call Sponsor’s representative at the phone number provided in the email within the two (2) hour period. Winner will be required to complete, including, but not limited to, signing and submitting, a Confirmation of Eligibility, Publicity and Liability Release and IRS form W-9 (the “Forms”) in order to receive a prize. If the prize notification is undeliverable, the winner does not reply to Sponsor within the two (2) hour period from the first notification attempt, the winner does not complete the Forms within two (2) hours of receipt of the link to the Forms, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, then such person will be disqualified and an alternative potential winner will be selected via a random drawing from all remaining eligible entries. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their entry, name, city and state and photograph/likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.  

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants, or if minors, their parents or guardians, agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless employees of Sponsor, UNL, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively “Releasees”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or non-use of the prize that may be awarded. This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska without regard to its principles of conflicts of law and jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within the State of Nebraska. Releasees are not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, the Official Rules, or in any Sweepstakes related advertising or materials; or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or illegible entries; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, or human or other error. If in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor, at its exclusive discretion reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. Winners are limited to one (1) prize from the Sponsor within any three hundred sixty-five day period. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, entrants and their parents/ guardians agrees that: a) under no circumstances will entrants and their parents/ guardians be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants and their parents/ guardians hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred and in no event shall entrants and their parents/ guardians be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures. 

9. PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information collected from entrants and their parents/guardians will be maintained by Sponsor in accordance with applicable federal and state consumer privacy laws, rules and regulations. 

10. WINNERS’ NAMES: The names of the winners mail a self-addressed stamped envelope by December 1, 2022, to First National Bank of Omaha, Attn: Marketing Department – Kick for Cash 2022 Winners, 1620 Dodge Street, Stop 3150, Omaha, NE 68197-3150. 

11. NO AFFILIATION WITH FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM OR TWITTER: The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
