Welcome to the central hub for the Canadian Cherry Month Flip & Share Contest! We are celebrating our local cherry farmers by mapping out exactly where fresh, sweet Canadian Cherries are landing this season. Participating in the contest is fast and simple, and it helps cherry lovers in your community easily find Canada’s favourite summer fruit!
CONTEST STARTS JULY 15 AT 9:00 AM (PT)
AND ENDS AUGUST 16 AT 11:59 PM (PT)
Step-by-Step Entry Instructions
Just follow these three easy steps to enter for your chance to win:
- Step 1: Spot the Cherries — Look for the 'Product of Canada' label on sweet cherry bags, bins, or signs at your local grocery store or market.
- Step 2: Get Social — Follow @CanadianCherryMonth on Instagram and/or Facebook, find our pinned ‘Flip & Share’ contest post at the top of the page, and ‘Like’ the post to show it some love!
- Step 3: Comment to Enter — Comment on the pinned post with the Grocery Store Name, Street Name, City, and Province where you found them. To keep your entry eligible, only share locations where you spotted Canadian sweet cherries today or within the last 24 hours.
You can post additional comments during the course of the contest, as long as each comment features a different grocery store location and meets these eligibility requirements.
Bonus Entry: In your comment(s), tag a friend you'd share your Canadian Cherries with for an extra entry!
Important Dates & Timelines
The contest runs exclusively during Canadian Cherry Month. Entries do not expire week-to-week—once you submit an eligible entry, it remains in the pool for all remaining draws!
- Contest Launch: Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT
- Weekly Draw 1 Selection: Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT
- Weekly Draw 2 Selection: Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT
- Weekly Draw 3 Selection: Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT
- Contest Final Entry Deadline: Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT
- Weekly Draw 4 Selection: Monday, August 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT
Prize Structures & Winner Notification
- The Prizes: There are a total of four (4) prizes available to be won in the Flip & Share contest. Each prize is a $100 CAD grocery gift card (issued as a prepaid credit card to use at your favourite local grocer). One winner will be chosen each week from all eligible entries received up to that draw date, and any eligible entries not selected will remain in the pool for the remaining draws.
- Winner Notification: Randomly selected potential winners will be contacted directly via Direct Message (DM) on the platform they used to enter (Instagram or Facebook) within 48 hours of the weekly draw date. Be sure to keep an eye on your "Message Requests" folder if your account is set to private!
- Claiming Your Prize: To be officially confirmed as a winner, selected participants must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and provide a valid email address and mailing address for prize delivery.
CONTEST MINI-RULES:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec residents) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. Starts July 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. PT and ends on August 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Four (4) prizes are available in total, each consisting of a $100 CAD prepaid credit card (to use towards completing a purchase at the confirmed winner’s favourite grocer). Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. Math skill-testing question required.
