Real anonymity is a system property, not a checkbox. The patterns that hold up under scrutiny:
- No name field, period. Sounds obvious; gets violated constantly with "optional" name fields that respondents fill in by reflex.
- No IP logging on the response record. If your tool ties responses to IPs, "anonymous" is a marketing word, not a data property. Confirm in the audit log, not the marketing page.
