Happy Lucky's® Teahouse Matcha Madness 2026 Official Rules 

One entry per email address. Challenge Brackets may only be completed online and must be submitted by the launch date and time of March 1st, 20236 at 10:00am MST. 

Daily Tasting and Voting

Everyday throughout March 2026, at Happy Lucky's® Teahouse*, two teas will be prepared for tasting during our normal business hours. Visitors will be able to taste each tea for free and vote for their favorite. Visitors must be present to vote. Visitors may only vote once per day. Voting by phone, email, text, social media or by any other communication method will not be accepted as a valid vote except for purchasers of the Matcha Madness Matcha Madness Tea Sampler Box. Purchasers of the Matcha Madness Matcha Madness Tea Sampler Box may vote by email. Votes will be totaled to determine a daily winner and advance to the next round. If Happy Lucky's Teahouse is closed any day during Matcha Madness then the following day will have two taste-offs.  

Bracket Challenge Scoring

Scoring is dependent upon picking the correct winner of each taste-off in advance of the Happy Lucky's® Teahouse Matcha Madness launch date of March 1st, 2026 at 10:00am MST.

Each correct winner in Round 1 will be awarded 10 points. Each correct winner in Round 2 will be awarded 20 points. Each correct winner in Round 3 will be awarded 40 points. Each correct winner in Round 4 will be awarded 80 points. Correctly picking the Championship Round, the Overall Winner, will be awarded 160 Points. The Challenge Bracket with the most cumulative points will be the Grand Prize winner.  

Winners —There are two ways to win. 

(1) Visit, taste, and vote daily for your favorite. One lucky voter will be drawn each day and win 100 Tea Lover's Club (TLC) points. Everyone is encouraged to vote daily and may win more than once and may win the bracket challenge grand prize as well. Daily Points winners will be notified by email and points will be added to your Tea Lover's Club (TLC) account. Winners without an TLC account will have one created for them. TLC points may be redeemed in-teahouse or online at HappyLuckys.com. 

(2) The Challenge Bracket with the most cumulative points will be the Grand Prize winner of a $100 Happy Lucky's® Teahouse Gift Card. If there is a tie the Challenge Bracket with the most correct winners will be declared the winner. If there is still a tie then the Grand Prize will be split amongst the winners.  

All rules are subject to change with or without notice at any time. The Happy Lucky's® Chief Leafster is the rule maker and final judge for all matters concerning the Matcha Madness contest. All decisions concerning the rules and tie breakers are final. There are no appeals. All questions should be referred to teahouse@happyluckys.com. 

Full transparency

Happy Lucky's® Teahouse employees and family will be competing simultaneously in a separate Challenge Bracket tournament. The Employee Grand Prize Winner will receive a $50 Downtown Fort Collins gift card.

Please screenshot your completed bracket entry. Your bracket will update daily starting March 1st based upon HappyLuckys.com websites use of cookies to connect your entry to the contest. Happy Lucky's can not provide your personal results if cookies fail during the Matcha Madness.
