SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Share what you do | City of Barrie

Prior to being published in the gallery, submitted photos must be approved by the Marketing & Communications department. Submissions are reviewed weekly, so submitted photos will not instantly appear in the gallery. Submitted videos will not appear in the gallery.

Upon submission, participants agree to the following: 

• I am an employee of the City of Barrie.
• I am the photographer/videographer and sole copyright owner of this photo/video, or I have the owner's permission to submit.
• I understand I am granting the City of Barrie the non-exclusive right to use my photos/videos in any way that the City sees fit.
• I grant this authorization free of charge.
• I acknowledge that the City of Barrie reserves the right to disallow any photos/videos that do not comply with its Social Media Policy or for any other reason.
• I consent to indemnify the City of Barrie against any claim, demand, action, suit or other proceedings against the City of Barrie arising out of the use of the photograph/video or related to any false or inaccurate statement I make.

Personal information on the submission form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001 and motion 11-G-065 and will be used by the City of Barrie for notification purposes of use of selected photo(s) in future City of Barrie Marketing and Communications materials only.
