The Family Violence Prevention Council is proud to host another exciting art contest for Broome County students! The goal of this contest is for local youth to illustrate our 2025 theme:

Celebrating 40 Years of Building Safe Homes.

Submissions will be accepted until March 21, 2025 at 12:00pm. No submissions will be accepted past the deadline, so please leave time for technical errors!

Beginning March 21, 2025 at 12:01pm, the gallery will be enabled and community members will be invited to vote for their favorite image until March 28, 2025 at 12:00pm. The winner will be announced after voting closes on March 28, 2025 via our facebook page (www.facebook.com/BroomeCoFVPC) .

The first place winner will have their art featured on a special Child Abuse Prevention Awareness billboard courtesy of Park Outdoor.

Second place will win an art kit valued up to $50.00 from Michael's and third place will win an art kit valued up to $25.00 from Michael's.

Please note that any art work that depicts or illustrates nudity, violence, or otherwise inappropriate material will be removed from the contest. The decisions regarding inappropriate material will be made by the FVPC staff, who will monitor submissions daily.

By submitting your art work, artists are agreeing to allow the Council to publicly share the submitted work as a part of this contest and in the future for other marketing and campaigning purposes.
