One lucky winner will earn the chance to perform on the Main Stage at the Inaugural Destin Songwriter Festival on Saturday, October 11, 2025!

Judging Criteria & Breakdown

The winner will be determined by the three key pillars of success in the music industry: creating great music, selling tickets, and building a loyal fan base.

Judges’ Score – 50%

A panel of respected music industry professionals will evaluate each songwriter on:

Songwriting quality (lyrics, structure, originality)

Melody and composition

Songwriter Ticket Sales – 25%

Each artist will receive a custom ticket link or code.

Every ticket sold through their link/code earns them points.

Ticket sales must be completed by the competition deadline to qualify.

Crowd Voting – 25%

Fans vote online for their favorite songwriter.

Voting is limited to one vote per person.

2025 Destin Songwriter Champion

The winner will be announced on October 1, 2025 and will take the stage on October 11, 2025 at the Destin Songwriter Festival Main Stage!
